Young Adults

Have you graduated high school (or ensino médio or escuela secundaria)?

Perhaps you have started university. If you are unhappy about a choice you already made, you are welcome.

Or maybe you are working while you wait for your next step to reveal itself. If you are stressed about a choice you have to make, you are welcome.

If you are looking for clarity and confidence about life after high school, you belong here!

First, society tells you what to do every day of your life between kindergarten and high school. For 13 years, you know what you are waking up for, Monday through Friday. If you are involved in sports, the arts, or other intense extra-curriculars, you also know what you are waking up for on your weekends.

Then, with little preparation for the world beyond high school, you graduate. Plop! Done! Over!

At the graduation ceremony you may hear that you can do anything you want and that you should follow your passion. (Click the link to hear why there couldn’t be worse advice!)

We have failed you. We have dropped you off a cliff the day you graduated high school and expected you to fly!

Again and again, I see this gap and its consequences—emotional, social and financial—in the lives of young people and the adults who care about them.

I created Design de Futuros to help fix this.

It all begins with a conversation.

Let’s begin!
