Counselors + IECs
Are you a school counselor, a college counselor, a career counselor, or an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC)?
Do you work with students in grades 9, 10, 11 or 12 (or equivalent)? Perhaps you also work with young adults who already started university or are working before starting college?
Whether you see students occasionally, teach a semester-long course, or work with young people in private practice, you are welcome.
Whether you have a little or a great deal of experience, you are welcome.
Whether your English is solid or you prefer to speak Portuguese or Spanish, you are welcome.
If you are looking for a systematic, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate way to provide career counseling, you belong here!

This training provides an overview of my comprehensive career counseling system, starting with the theoretical framework (the why behind the what) followed by resources to help our students learn more about themselves, about careers of interest, and about the world of work they will inhabit as adults. You will learn tools you can start applying to your career counseling practice right away.
To learn about the details, including the LESSON PLAN WEEK-BY-WEEK, click the bolded words.
The cost for the series is USD 120, with scholarships available per request.
There are only 10 spots per six-week cohort. Your spot is guaranteed when you register. (If you need a scholarship, please send an email to julia@designdefuturos.com.)
Click the bolded words below to register for one of the upcoming trainings.
REGISTER HERE for the 6-WEEK TRAINING ON MONDAY EVENINGS (begins October 12th, 2026)
The next training will take place in early 2027.

If you would like a ONE-PAGE SUMMARY PDF that you can share with your school leadership to request professional development funding, please click the bolded words to download the PDF.
(Please be aware that this is a 6-hour overview. If there is demand, I will develop a more comprehensive--and necessarily longer--training in the future.)

This is a monthly seminar (yes, like at university!) created for professionals with experience in career counseling who want to expand their horizons through in-depth discussions of advanced career counseling resources. By signing up, you commit to study the resource ahead of time and prepare a comment and a question prior to each meeting.
We meet once a month for 75 minutes.
The meetings have no financial cost (with one exception explained below) but require your time for preparation before the meeting.
Space is limited to 12 people to help discussion flow more easily.
Find more CRITICAL READINGS STUDY GROUP DETAILS by clicking the bolded text.
If you are interested, and we already know each other (for example through the LatAm Network), please go ahead and save your spot below. (Please only sign up if you know you will be able to study the resource and prepare before hand, and if you know you are able to attend.)
